A global creative and influencer-led agency is hiring an Account Director to lead some of its most high‑profile lifestyle, fashion, tech and consumer brand partnerships. This is a senior role for someone who can blend client leadership, cultural insight, and operational excellence to deliver standout work at scale.
You’ll guide multi‑channel strategies, oversee campaign delivery, manage client relationships at a senior level and mentor a growing team. If you understand the creator economy inside out and can bring structure, clarity and vision to fast‑paced accounts, this is a strong fit.
This is a full‑time position based in New York, hybrid remote, with a new Manhattan office opening in 2026.
Role: Account Director
Salary: Up to $140,000 per annum
Location: New York, hybrid remote, Manhattan office opening 2026
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead client relationships across key lifestyle, consumer and tech brands, acting as the senior strategic partner
- Oversee planning and delivery of influencer, social and integrated campaigns
- Provide clear direction to AE, AM and SAM level team members across multiple work streams
- Bring proactive ideas, cultural insights and strategic opportunities to clients
- Ensure budgets, timelines and scopes are delivered accurately across all accounts
- Oversee talent strategy including sourcing, negotiation, contracting and content approval
- Review performance data, build insights and drive optimisation
- Lead presentations, pitches and long‑term account planning
- Work closely with creative, production and strategy teams to bring campaigns to life
What they’re looking for:
- At least 6 to 8 years’ experience in influencer marketing, social strategy, integrated comms or digital account management
- Confident leading enterprise‑level clients and navigating senior stakeholder conversations
- Strong understanding of creator partnerships, digital culture and cross‑platform storytelling
- Experience managing and developing teams in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and scope effectively
- Comfortable with talent negotiations, usage rights, compliance and reporting
- A calm, structured operator who can manage multiple large‑scale projects simultaneously
