Edelman is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Vice President of Health Media to help lead the next generation of healthcare and pharmaceutical storytelling. This role is ideal for a senior media leader who brings deep earned media expertise alongside fluency in pharma innovation, data-driven storytelling, and regulatory environments - and who is energized by translating complex science into meaningful, credible narratives.

** Media Execution & Influence
*** Secure high-impact coverage across national and local TV, radio, print, digital, and trade outlets
* Lead media planning and execution for milestone announcements, executive visibility, media events, and desk-side briefings
* Maintain and deepen strong relationships with top-tier health, science, business, and technology reporters
** Client Partnership & Business Growth
*** Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders across communications, marketing, public affairs, medical affairs, and regulatory
* Identify opportunities to grow existing business and support new business development, proposals, and prospecting
* Confidently present media strategy and counsel in high-stakes, highly scrutinized situations
** Team Leadership & Development
*** Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing media teams across levels
* Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of learning and excellence
* Model strong collaboration across integrated teams, including creative, digital, analytics, and policy

* Basic Qualifications:

*** 8+ years of earned media experience, with significant work across pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences clients
* Demonstrated experience navigating FDA regulations, clinical data communications, and compliance-driven review processes
* Strong understanding of pharma technology, AI, data analytics, and innovation ecosystems

* Preferred Qualifications:

** Ability to guide clients on how data and technology can enhance earned media impact Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills Proven ability to explain highly technical or regulated topics in clear, accessible ways
* Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior clients and internal stakeholders $95,000 - $165,000 annually#LI-EB1
