We’re looking for a technically fluent, client-facing Sales Engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments and can translate complex investment-management requirements into clear, executable solutions. This role sits at the center of Sales, Product, and Implementation, owning technical discovery, demo configuration, and scoping to ensure every new client engagement starts with clarity, confidence, and precision.
What You ll Be Doing- Partner with Sales to lead technical discovery and solution design for prospective clients.
- Configure and deliver tailored demos that highlight
Siepe’s platform, workflows, and integrations. - Translate business, operational, and reporting requirements into clear technical scope and documentation.
- Identify data sources, integration points, and dependencies across client systems.
- Act as the technical liaison between clients, Product, and Implementation teams.
- Support pricing, timelines, and feasibility assessments during the sales cycle.
- Contribute to RFP responses, due diligence, and complex deal support.
- Capture recurring requirements to inform product enhancements and scalable standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Implementation within Fin Tech, SaaS, or financial services.
- Strong understanding of investment operations, data flows, and front-to-back workflows.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and system designs.
- Proficiency with SQL, data mapping, and API-based integrations preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple complex engagements simultaneously.
- Must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the country of employment without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
Salary: $175,000 - $193,000 a year
The posted range is a good-faith estimate of the base compensation we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Individual compensation within the range is determined based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. This salary range does not include other compensation incentives or benefits.
