Site Reliability Engineer

My client, an industry-leading, technology-driven trading firm is hiring an experienced Software Engineer with a focus on Site Reliability Engineering to join one of their highest-performing quantitative teams, responsible for scaling and maintaining mission-critical, data-intensive production systems.

What You’ll Do:

In this role, you will develop software that automates production processes and improves system reliability. You will help design and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant systems with an emphasis on stability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining reliable, scalable production systems.
• Designing and implementing automation to reduce operational overhead.
• Enhancing the performance, resiliency, and observability of existing infrastructure.
• Partnering with engineers and technical stakeholders to meet evolving system needs.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience building distributed systems in Python.
• Strong experience working in Linux-based environments.
• Proven ability to work with large, complex datasets.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
