Location: New York

Global Credit Risk COO team is looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated individual.

  • Job responsibilities will include:
    Reporting & Management Analytics
  • Perform standardized and ad hoc data analytics on trade, portfolio, counter party, country, issuer, and other concentration reporting
  • Efficiently summarize data and findings to Senior Management
  • Collaborate with Operations, Technology, and Analytics teams to ensure data completeness and accuracy in a timely manner
  • Policy Development, Administration & Audit
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for the global department
  • Support credit rating models and validations
  • Assist with Audit & Regulatory inquiries
  • Department Business Analyst
  • Manage large IT projects for the global department (e.g., workflow tools, system migrations)
  • Capture business requirements and produce clear, actionable BRDs for technical team consumption; document procedures (current and proposed), policies, and technical workflows (using MS Visio)
  • Perform analysis and solutions around data sources
  • Assist Project Managers with presentations, minutes, and updating project plans (MS Projects)
  • Testing, troubleshooting, solutioning, and debugging production and QA issues
  • Partner with technical teams and owning delivery of development items
Required Background/

Skills:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Counter party Credit Risk or related fields
  • Bachelor’s Degree required;
    Master’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to manipulate, analyze, and summarize complex and large data sets for Management
  • Highly organized individual able to produce and maintain documentation and follow processes
  • Project Management background; ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communications skills
  • Product knowledge is preferred (Fixed Income, FX, and Equity markets, Securities & Margin Finance)
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio skills
  • VBA and Python programming skills are preferred
