Business Intelligence Engineer

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Business Intelligence Engineer supporting BI and Analytics initiatives. The selected candidate will play a key role in designing and building a modern cloud-based BI platform, delivering scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, interactive dashboards, and data feeds for both internal and external customers.

You will collaborate closely with application development and product teams to migrate existing BI and reporting solutions to AWS. In addition, you will contribute to the research, design, and development of an enterprise business intelligence framework that supports analytics, data science, and reporting across multiple product lines.

This role will also involve identifying and onboarding new data sources into the BI ecosystem, as well as modeling the BI data lake to enable leadership and clients to make informed, data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

• Deep expertise in data, data management, and business intelligence
• Strong experience with industry BI and analytics tools (AWS Lake Formation, Athena, Quick Sight, Tableau, Synergy, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience building ETL solutions using tools such as Snap Logic and Flink
• Familiarity with XML schemas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience mentoring and collaborating with team members in an Agile environment
• Strong background working within a Secure SDLC, including checkpoints and processes for regulated deployments
• Experience developing and supporting large-scale, mission-critical transaction processing applications
• Familiarity with payment systems, networks, and protocols (ISO
  2022, SWIFT, NACHA, etc.)
• Experience working in highly regulated environments with advanced data security requirements
