This role is primarily focused on web design and digital creative, with a secondary focus on Word Press implementation and lightweight development. You will translate campaign goals into clear, on‑brand layouts and creative, then build and ship those experiences in Word Press (WP Engine).

You will work closely with marketers and copywriters to move quickly, iterate through testing, and improve conversion and clarity across key pages. This is a builder role. You will take ideas from concept to design to live Word Press pages.

What you will do Design And Creative Ownership (primary)
  • Own web‑first design for marketing pages, landing pages, and microsites with strong visual hierarchy, typography, and responsive layout
  • Translate campaign objectives into page designs that communicate value quickly and drive conversion
  • Create on‑brand digital creative for web and key channels (email graphics, social, paid ads) and adapt approved creative across sizes and formats
  • Build and maintain reusable design systems for speed and consistency, including templates, components, and asset organization
  • Audit existing pages and propose design improvements that increase clarity, trust, and conversion
Word Press implementation and website execution (secondary)

  • Maintain the visual and content integrity of the marketing site, ensuring consistent styling and a high‑quality experience across devices
  • Handle day‑to‑day site updates, QA, and troubleshooting, including cross‑browser testing and issue resolution
  • Maintain basic site hygiene: image optimization, performance fundamentals, and on‑page SEO basics
Lightweight development and tools (as needed)
  • Implement small interactive tools, widgets, or read‑only pages that follow API documentation closely
  • Integrate JSON REST APIs into Word Press using PHP and or client‑side Java Script
  • Create or maintain lightweight Word Press functionality or small plugins to support marketing initiatives
  • Partner with Qwoted Engineering to resolve API questions and edge cases
Collaboration and iteration
  • Work in short cycles, share progress frequently, and ship updates consistently
  • Present work, receive feedback, and iterate quickly
  • Document lightweight processes for repeatable builds and faster launches
Requirements (must Have)
  • A design portfolio that demonstrates strong web design and digital creative work (landing pages, website design, campaign creative, ads, social, or similar)
  • Strong web design fundamentals: layout, typography, spacing, responsive design, and conversion‑focused hierarchy
  • Word Press experience, including:

    • Comfort working within Word Press themes, templates, and content structures
    • Ability to troubleshoot plugin conflicts, performance issues, and layout inconsistencies
    • Familiarity with WP Engine workflows and foundational knowledge of domains and DNS
    • Strong QA instincts and ability to test and debug issues independently
    • Ability to manage shifting priorities, maintain a backlog, and communicate status clearly
    • Familiarity with accessibility best practices for web
