Managing Director, Technology Private Credit

We have been mandated by a private credit arm of a leading asset manager as it expands its footprint in software and tech-enabled services.

The seat offers wide latitude, direct exposure to founders and leadership, and real influence on how this vertical grows.

This position can be based in SF or NYC.*

• Build and deepen relationships across software and tech-enabled services.
• Engage directly with CEOs, founders, and investors across the ecosystem.
• Underwrite complex capital solutions and bring sharp judgment to earlier-stage and high-growth situations.
• Help frame theses, coverage priorities, and long-term strategy.
• Join leadership in LP conversations and broader platform-building work.
• Support junior investors and contribute to the culture as the group scales.

• Senior technology credit or growth/venture credit investors with a strong origination story.
• People who create proprietary flow rather than rely on sponsor pipelines.
• Clear communicators who move easily between founders, management teams, and LPs.
• Investors who want build-mode exposure and meaningful economic upside.
• Team-oriented leaders who enjoy shaping how a platform evolves.

• A senior role within a growing private credit platform.
• Broad flexibility across technology and recurring-revenue businesses.
• High visibility with firm leadership and external partners.

• 10+ years in private credit, venture/growth credit, or structured capital.
• Demonstrated origination strength in technology or recurring-revenue models.
• Underwriting experience across senior, unitranche, mezzanine, preferred, or hybrid structures.
• Direct engagement with founders and management teams.
• Ability to build theses and evaluate markets.
• Strong communication across internal and external audiences.
• Comfort operating in a build-stage environment.
• Interest in mentoring and shaping junior talent.
• Based in, or open to, a major U.S. tech or financial hub.
