Essential

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the implementation and strategic direction of U.S. Bank s Do-IT-Together platform, ensuring seamless integration across web and mobile channels to boost customer acquisition and support.
  • Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain various digital banking products.
  • Engineer comprehensive digital solutions for customer engagement across Web, APIs, Mobile, Cloud, and Data systems.
  • Utilize programming languages such as Java, Python, React, Kotlin, and Swift to design and develop scalable components for web and mobile platforms.
  • Advance and update cloud-native applications on Azure using Kubernetes and automated Dev Ops practices.
  • Develop integration patterns and define API contracts to enable enterprise-wide customer interaction flows.
  • Implement and support data pipelines, event streams, and reporting metrics for engagement platforms.
  • Leverage GenAI technologies to enhance automation, generate insights, and improve experiences for customers and agents.
  • Maintain rigorous standards for security, compliance, and resiliency across all customer-interacting systems.
  • Mentor engineers and promote best engineering practices across multiple product teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors, product teams, and operations to deliver dependable, high-quality engagement solutions.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience designing and implementing complex digital engagement platforms (Web, API, Mobile, Cloud, Data).
  • Advanced skills in Java, Python, REST APIs, React, Kotlin, and Swift.
  • Practical experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and Dev Ops automation tools.
  • Knowledge of API development, integration strategies, and core enterprise architecture concepts.
  • Understanding of data engineering, event-driven systems, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies in customer engagement contexts.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Microsoft Certified:
    Azure Solutions Architect Expert is a plus.
  • Experience with Glance s CX and co-browse is a plus.
Location and Work Arrangements

This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
