Applications Administrator (On-Site – Westchester County, NY)

A growing professional services organization is seeking a hands‑on Applications Administrator to own and optimize its business systems ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of IT, data, and operations, supporting multiple teams across Finance, HR, and Business Intelligence. You will play a central role in keeping critical systems running smoothly, improving how they connect to one another, and ensuring data is reliable and secure.

What

you’ll do
  • Administer and configure core business applications including CRM, ERP, HRIS, and project management platforms.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security controls across systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integrations, data syncs, and automated workflows using tools such as Zapier, Make, or APIs.
  • Partner regularly with Finance, HR, and BI teams to refine processes, resolve issues, and improve workflows.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and document outcomes from system reviews and updates.
  • Support data governance, cleanup efforts, and compliance‑related requirements such as audit trails and access management.
  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers to design scalable integrations and document existing processes.
You’ll be a strong fit if you have
  • 5+ years of experience in applications administration, business systems, or a similar role.
  • Hands‑on experience administering at least some of the following:
    Hub Spot, Net Suite, ADP, , Asana, or similar SaaS tools.
  • Practical experience with workflow automation or integrations via Zapier, Make, APIs, or webhooks.
  • Comfort working with data, dashboards, or reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • A track record of working cross‑functionally with Finance, HR, or Operations teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
Location & Schedule
  • Primarily on‑site in Westchester County, NY.
  • Expected to be on‑site with the client in Manhattan at least one day per week for collaboration and stakeholder meetings.
