The Role

Solution Architects at Cassidy are trusted technical partners to our Account Executives and prospects. You’ll work directly with customers to understand their workflows, identify opportunities where Cassidy can drive real business impact, and bring those stories to life through thoughtful demos and solution design.

This is a classic pre-sales role: part product expert, part consultant, part storyteller. You’ll be instrumental in helping customers understand not just what Cassidy does, but why it matters for their team.

This role is based in New York City and requires working from our office. We value in-person collaboration and expect Solution Architects to be on site working closely with the broader go-to-market team.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to support the full sales cycle, from discovery through close
  • Lead technical discovery to deeply understand customer workflows, requirements, and success criteria
  • Design and deliver compelling, outcome-driven demos tailored to each customer’s use cases
  • Build custom demo environments, configurations, or workflows that reflect real customer data and scenarios
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers evaluate tradeoffs and design solutions that fit their needs
  • Support technical evaluations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts
  • Answer technical questions related to integrations, security, data flows, and architecture
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to unblock deals and share customer feedback
  • Contribute demo assets, best practices, and enablement materials to improve the Sales Engineering team over time
What We’re Looking For
  • 3-8 years of relevant experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or similar pre-sales role
  • Experience working in mid-market or enterprise SaaS sales cycle
  • Strong customer-facing skills — comfortable leading conversations with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented explanations
  • Experience working with modern SaaS products, APIs, integrations, or data-driven workflows
  • Familiarity with CRMs, automation platforms, or AI-powered products is a plus
  • Comfort building and delivering live demos that adapt to customer questions in real time
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A collaborative mindset and comfort working closely with cross-functional teams in person
  • Bias toward action and ownership in fast-moving environments
