Risk Systems Engineer

This is not a traditional credit risk role. The mandate is to build autonomous, AI-driven risk systems that power real-time decisioning across credit and fraud. The company is investing heavily in next-generation, agentic infrastructure and is looking for a senior, high-agency individual contributor to own this build end-to-end.

You would be responsible for architecting and deploying scalable risk systems that sit at the core of revenue and portfolio performance. The role blends engineering depth, machine learning, and risk strategy — with meaningful ownership from research and prototyping through to production and optimization.

• Designing and implementing AI-driven, autonomous risk management systems
• Building real-time credit decisioning and fraud detection pipelines
• Creating scalable, low-latency infrastructure in a cloud-native environment
• Partnering with product and data teams to translate risk strategy into production systems
• Continuously optimizing models and system performance using feedback loops

• 8–15 years’ experience in risk engineering, fintech infrastructure, or AI systems
• Deep programming expertise (Python, Go, Java or similar)
• Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor in a flat, high-ownership environment
