IT Project Manager – Technology Initiatives

The IT Project Manager drives end-to-end execution of complex technology initiatives, providing clear visibility into scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable plans, ensure stakeholder alignment, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

The role balances strategic oversight with hands-on execution, strong communication, and disciplined project controls.

• Plan, execute, and deliver multiple technology initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, managing dependencies and driving accountability to milestones.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and blockers; develop mitigation plans and drive resolution.
• Define project objectives, success criteria, delivery plans, and timelines in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
• Lead governance processes, including change management, prioritization, documentation, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain executive-level roadmaps, dashboards, status reports, and communication plans.
• Support organizational change management and adoption for new initiatives.
• Provide regular, clear updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support additional PMO initiatives and take on related responsibilities as needed.

• Proven ability to manage complex, milestone-driven projects in a matrixed environment.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team leadership skills.
• Experience translating high-level requirements into structured project plans and execution frameworks.
• Proficiency with Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.

• Experience with common project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Wrike, MS Teams).
• Strong skills in reporting, documentation, and executive presentations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or related roles.

• PMP and/or Agile certification.
• Hybrid role with 1-2 days per week in the NYC office as needed.
