MRM is seeking a results-oriented and visionary VP, Search to lead and evolve our paid search and SEO practice. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the development, execution, and optimization of performance-focused search campaigns across a portfolio of top-tier clients. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, own client relationships, and guide innovation in audience targeting, automation, and omnichannel integration.

This role requires deep technical expertise in search marketing, strategic leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to turn performance data into actionable insight. The ideal candidate is as comfortable in client boardrooms as they are in campaign platforms—bringing a hands‑on, agile mindset to a rapidly evolving discipline.

In This Role, You Will:
  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of paid search and SEO programs across Google, Microsoft, and emerging search platforms
  • Serve as the senior strategic advisor for clients on all things search—balancing performance goals with broader marketing objectives
  • Oversee account health, performance optimization, and innovation in bidding, audience segmentation, and search automation
  • Guide the integration of search with other digital channels (social, display, video) to support full‑funnel planning
  • Build and mentor a high‑performing team of paid search specialists, SEO analysts, and performance strategists
  • Collaborate with analytics and data science teams to develop dashboards, attribution models, and actionable reporting frameworks
  • Maintain strong relationships with platform partners (Google, Microsoft, etc.) and stay ahead of search trends and algorithm updates
  • Lead new business efforts, pitch development, and cross‑functional collaboration to grow agency revenue and search capabilities
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling client presentations and insights
What We Are Looking For :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Analytics, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • 12+ years of experience in performance marketing with a deep focus on paid search and SEO strategy
  • Expert‑level knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and bid management tools (e.g., SA360, Marin, Skai)
  • Proven track record of managing multimillion‑dollar search budgets and delivering measurable ROI
  • Strong leadership experience with cross‑functional team management and mentorship
  • Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with keyword research tools, SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Bright Edge, Moz), and tag management
  • Experience working in an agency environment with large‑scale clients and complex reporting structures
  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and committed to staying ahead in an ever‑changing performance landscape
