Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: New York
Your skillset - as strong as our protein
- 5–10 years of experience as a Data Architect, Lead Data Engineer, or Migration Lead
- Deep expertise in ERP data structures (e.g., SAP, Business Central, Odoo, etc.)
- Strong skills in data modeling, APIs, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, and Python
- Experience delivering at least one end-to-end ERP migration
- Ownership mindset with the ability to establish and enforce technical standards
- Passion for modern tools, automation, and AI-driven approaches
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect / Data Engineer who will define the complete data structure of our future landscape and fundamentally modernize our ERP migration and all operational systems. You will be a technical key role in the entire transformation program — with direct impact on scalability, international expansion, and automation. You will rebuild the entire data environment of Iron Maxx — modern, scalable, and system-agnostic.
From data governance to target data models to integration architecture: you will define the standards that take us to the next level of growth.
- Design a modern, scalable data model for the ERP and all satellite systems
- Develop a comprehensive interface and integration blueprint
- Introduce data governance principles and master data management policies
- Take technical ownership of all migration and integration architectures
- Define ETL/ELT strategies for the future data landscape
- Design data harmonization across the ERP (e.g., SAP), Streamline, shop systems, and additional platforms
- Oversee all mapping logic, transformation rules, and validation concepts
- Advise on ERP strategy and vendor selection (e.g., S/4, Business Central, Odoo, Manhattan, Infor)
- Ensure data quality, auditability, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate closely with BI/Automation, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Build and lead a Data Management team
- Define KPIs to measure performance and target achievement
- Conduct employee reviews and development conversations
- Serve as a key contact for relevant interfaces and stakeholders
