IT Systems Administrator

We are looking for a seasoned IT Systems Administrator to join a fast‑growing team redefining how people discover and engage with information online. As an early addition to this critical function, you’ll play a foundational role in building, scaling, and strengthening the company’s technology infrastructure from day one.

New York, NY and will be 5 days onsite.

This position is going to be a 3-month contract‑to‑hire.

• Acquire, configure, and support laptops, networking hardware, and office IT systems
• Administer and improve core business applications and SaaS platforms
• Manage and optimize the organization’s MDM environment
• Implement and uphold company-wide security standards and controls
• Create, manage, and audit user access and permissions
• Deliver responsive technical support and resolve advanced system and network issues
• Drive IT initiatives related to endpoint management, security hardening, and infrastructure modernization
• Provide hands‑on and remote training to employees on internal systems and tools

• 4+ years of experience in IT systems administration
• The candidate must have experience with Kandji
• Strong expertise in macOS and Google Workspace environments
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities
• Solid networking background, including LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, and firewall configuration
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including encryption, endpoint protection, and access controls
• Demonstrated experience leading system upgrades, migrations, and technology rollouts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
