We are seeking a senior Engagement Manager to lead complex Data & AI engagements within the Utilities and Energy sector. This role goes beyond traditional project management. The ideal candidate blends senior program management rigor, consulting and advisory capabilities, data & AI domain fluency, utility/energy industry experience, and pre‑sales support. The individual will own engagement success across delivery, stakeholder alignment, value realization, and expansion opportunities.

They must be comfortable leading teams delivering analytics models, data platforms, data migrations, governance programs, and AI solutions.

• Own end-to-end delivery of Data & AI programs (analytics, data engineering, data platforms, data strategy, AI/ML use cases).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Architects, MLOps, and Business Analysts.
• Ensure alignment between technical outputs and business objectives.
• Drive structured governance including steering committees, executive updates, and risk management.
• Manage scope, financials, utilization, and margin.
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks.

• Lead engagements involving predictive and prescriptive analytics, machine learning development, data migrations, and platform modernization.
• Oversee data architecture, integration initiatives, governance frameworks, and AI/GenAI deployments.
• Ensure proper model lifecycle governance, validation, documentation, and deployment standards.
• Translate technical discussions into business-relevant implications for senior stakeholders.

• Serve as trusted advisor to client leadership across operations, asset management, grid modernization, and customer analytics.
• Facilitate business problem structuring and solution framing.
• Guide clients on data maturity, analytics roadmaps, and operating model design.
• Align AI initiatives with measurable business value and operational impact.
• Support proposal development, solution shaping, and executive presentations.
• Contribute to SOW drafting and effort estimation.
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Partner with sales and capability leaders to convert pipeline to booked work.

• Bring utilities/energy domain understanding (electric, gas, renewables, infrastructure).
• Demonstrate fluency in cloud data platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), Lakehouse architecture, ML lifecycle management, and data integration patterns.
• Engage confidently at both executive and technical architecture levels.

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, program management, or delivery leadership.
• Demonstrated experience leading Data Science or Analytics engagements.
• Experience managing data platform implementations or modernization programs.
• Financial management of multi-million-dollar programs.
• Experience working in Utilities, Energy, Infrastructure, or similar regulated industries.

• MBA or advanced degree.
• Prior consulting firm experience (Big 4, strategy firms, or technology consultancies).
• Experience with regulated environments and enterprise-scale transformation.
• Familiarity with AI governance and model risk management frameworks.

• Structured thinker with strong executive presence.
• Technically credible with data & AI teams.
• Commercially aware and comfortable in growth discussions.
• Able to operate in ambiguity and shape programs from early-stage definition.
• Drives accountability without micromanaging.
