DB, Business Insider, Gilt, Zola, and Nomad Health), we are assembling our founding team in New York. This is a rare opportunity to join from day zero. As one of our first hires, you’ll shape the product vision, design language, and culture of a company with the ambition to help millions of people explore who they are and where they’re going.

We’re looking for a Founding Product Designer to join Lora at Day 0. You’ll own end-to-end product design — from flows and onboarding to the small details that make people fall in love with a product. At Lora, design is the product. You’ll partner closely with a Brand Designer to ensure the product and brand experience feel seamless, culturally resonant, and unforgettable.

We need someone who can move fast, dream big, and own the visual and interaction DNA that will scale with millions of users.

Own product design: mobile flows, onboarding, and first-time user experience. Have a point of view on our Brand and visual and emotional identity.

Translate user insights into clean, intuitive, delightful product experiences.

Collaborate with the founder/CEO and Founding Engineers to ship the MVP.

Create the design systems and standards that scale beyond v1.

5-7+ years of design experience, with at least 2 years designing consumer apps; true 0→1 or founding experience is a big plus.

Exceptional product craft — you care deeply about aesthetic, usability, flow, the customer, and the details that create delight and build deep brand love.

Energized by being a strategic thought partner to the founder/CEO and shaping the company from scratch.

Thrives in ambiguity and fast cycles; scrappy, collaborative, and excited to dream, drive, and own something meaningful on a funded founding team.

Hands-on with Figma and curious about emerging tools like Loveable, Bolt, and V0 — able to move fast, prototype quickly, and iterate directly with users.

A culture-native sensibility; you are tuned into Gen Z behavior, aesthetics, and how people interact with apps today.

Thrives in ambiguity and fast cycles; scrappy, collaborative, and excited to dream, drive, and own something meaningful on a funded founding team.

A portfolio with shipped mobile work and clear storytelling around design choices, impact, and outcomes.

A systems thinker who can create a scalable design system from the ground up.

Excited about end-to-end ownership across product, brand, and marketing design.

NYC-based, or able to be regularly in person at our Flatiron office.

Motion/animation design chops — the ability to bring interactions and brand moments to life.

Experience spanning both product and marketing design, and comfort shifting between them.

Prior early-stage or founding designer experience — you know what it’s like to set the tone and systems from zero.

Genuine curiosity about astrology, wellness, or personal growth spaces — or simply excitement to design in a space where user impact and culture intersect.
