About the Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior eCommerce Manager to lead ecommerce strategy, optimization, and growth for our portfolio of DTC CPG clients. This role is responsible for driving revenue performance across clients’ digital storefronts by owning site strategy, customer experience, CRO, UX/UI, analytics, and ongoing optimization initiatives. As a senior leader within our eCommerce team, you’ll translate client business objectives into actionable digital roadmaps, partner closely with creative and technical teams, and drive measurable improvements across conversion, retention, and LTV.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the eCommerce strategy for DTC CPG clients, including annual planning, prioritization, roadmap development, and KPI setting.
  • Translate business goals into site experience improvements, optimization initiatives, and digital programs that drive revenue and margin.
  • Provide strategic thought leadership across merchandising, customer journey, digital performance, and onsite content.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
  • Develop and execute CRO frameworks including A/B testing, experimentation planning, and performance analysis.
  • Identify friction points across the funnel and deploy data-backed solutions to improve conversion and average order value (AOV).
  • Partner with design and engineering to launch enhancements and test variations.
UX/UI & Customer Experience
  • Own the UX/UI strategy for client sites, including navigation, PDP/PLP design, merchandising strategies, site architecture, and mobile-first user experiences.
  • Collaborate with designers to build customer-centric, brand-aligned experiences that increase engagement and reduce friction.
  • Ensure ADA compliance, site speed, and usability best practices.
Digital Revenue Management
  • Monitor and optimize ecommerce performance across CVR, AOV, LTV, repeat rate, CAC/MER alignment, and total revenue.
  • Partner with media, CRM, creative, and product teams to align acquisition and retention efforts with onsite performance.
  • Lead demand forecasting, promotional planning input, and inventory-aware optimization.
Analytics, Reporting & Insights
  • Own ecommerce analytics: dashboards, reporting frameworks, insights decks, and performance reviews.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on customer behavior, funnel performance, channel attribution, and merchandising.
  • Translate analytics into clear recommendations, prioritizing initiatives based on business impact.
Cross-Functional & Client Leadership
  • Serve as the ecommerce expert and strategic partner to clients, presenting recommendations, performance insights, and optimization roadmaps.
  • Work closely with creative, development, media, and brand strategy teams to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Manage multiple clients simultaneously with a high level of organization and communication.
Qualifications
  • 8–10+ years in eCommerce/digital optimization, ideally in an agency, CPG, or DTC environment.
  • Deep experience with DTC ecommerce platforms (Shopify/Shopify Plus preferred).
  • Proven success driving conversion rate improvements and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, site architecture, and customer journey design and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with analytics tools (GA4, Looker, Triple Whale, Hotjar, Shopify Analytics, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into strategic action.
  • Exceptional project management and client-facing communication skills.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, multi-client agency environment.
