Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid / Remote-Friendly)

We’re building next-generation financial infrastructure—and we’re looking for a Senior Dev Ops Engineer to help design, scale, and harden the platforms that power real-time, high-volume financial systems.

This is a hands-on, senior-level role where you’ll own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, platform reliability, and automation across a modern, cloud-native environment. You’ll partner closely with backend engineers, security, and data teams to ensure our systems are fast, resilient, secure, and built to scale.

• Architect, build, and operate highly available, low-latency cloud infrastructure for mission-critical fintech systems
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, safe, and automated deployments
• Own infrastructure as code using Terraform (and/or Pulumi, Crossplane)
• Build and operate Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS/GKE/AKS) at scale
• Implement modern observability across metrics, logs, and traces (Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, Datadog)
• Drive reliability through automation, self-healing systems, and proactive monitoring
• Partner with security teams to embed Dev Sec Ops best practices (IAM, secrets management, policy as code)
• Lead incident response, postmortems, and reliability improvements (no-blame culture)
• Optimize performance, cost, and scalability across cloud environments
• Influence architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers

We care more about depth and fundamentals than checking every box—but expect exposure to:

• Cloud: AWS (preferred), GCP or Azure
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (must-have), Pulumi, Crossplane
• CI/CD: Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Argo Workflows, CircleCI
• Languages: Go, Python, Bash (strong scripting required)
• Security: IAM, Vault, SOPS, OPA, policy-as-code
• Data & Messaging: Kafka, event-driven systems, streaming architectures

• 5–8+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Platform Engineering, or SRE roles
• Proven experience running production systems at scale
• Strong Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture experience
• Expert-level Infrastructure as Code mindset
• Solid programming skills (not just YAML)
• Experience supporting high-availability, regulated, or security-sensitive environments (fintech a plus)
