HSBC Derivatives Clearing Services (DCS) is seeking a Futures Execution Product - Vice President with a focus on electronic trading platforms

Responsibilities
  • Act as a key member of the Futures Execution Product team, influencing the strategic direction of the global eTrading platform.
  • Leverage analytical expertise and technical skills to deliver innovative solutions for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and engage directly with clients to enhance the trading experience.
  • Drive product development and contribute significantly to the advancement of futures trading capabilities.
  • Work closely with business analysts, technology, legal, compliance, operations, and sales and trading teams to optimize product functionality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of futures trading and related analytics.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory and control requirements.
  • Contribute as an integral team member, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Onboard new institutional clients and internal users to DCS’s electronic trading platforms.
  • Manage user trading permissions according to product, limits, and functionality.
  • Provide support to US trading desks during trading hours.
  • Assist external clients executing both DMA and Care Order flows via HSBC-issued platforms.
  • Monitor trading platforms for rejected orders and support clients through to resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
  • General knowledge of capital markets
  • Comfortable with use and learning new technology platforms.
  • Strong client service skills
  • Ability to absorb and analyze information quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Clear communicator and good listening skills
  • Results oriented, efficient, and ability to learn from mistakes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Knowledge of futures and options market infrastructure, including FIX protocol a plus
  • Knowledge of ETD trading platforms such as TT, Bloomberg Tradebook, EMSX a plus

Your final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
