Max Hourly Rate: $80 to $85 per hour
Position OverviewPublic Safety is seeking a dedicated Remedy CMDB Developer (Analyst
3) to provide supplemental support for the day‑to‑day administration and management of its BMC Remedy/Helix CMDB environment. This role will focus on Critical Lifecycle Management Services, ADDM Discovery, CMDB asset intake, automation, reconciliation, and ongoing operational support. The selected candidate will support both current BAU (Business As Usual) operations and Next Gen initiatives.
- Evaluate and document current BMC Remedy/Helix CMDB practices and processes.
- Review ITIL processes including:
- Service Request Management
- Change Management
- Configuration Management
- Release & Lifecycle Management
- Review and integrate lifecycle and discovery tools such as:
- ADDM Discovery
- SCCM
- Other CMDB-related tools
- Troubleshoot and audit Incident, Change, Release, and Lifecycle processes.
- Ensure critical Configuration Items (CIs) are properly identified, documented, and maintained.
- Add, modify, and remove CIs through automation and Remedy workflows.
- Perform reconciliation and validation of CI relationships.
- Audit configuration records and dependency mapping.
- Identify optimization opportunities and recommend best practices.
- Recommend tool enhancements and process improvements.
- Produce documentation, workflows, diagrams, and technical artifacts.
Candidates without these qualifications will not be considered:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in:
- BMC Remedy ARS
- CMDB
- ITSM
- SLM
- SRM
- Development, customization, administration, and support
- Experience with Remedy ARS, CMDB, ITSM installation and configuration (Version 18.x and above)
- Experience integrating Remedy with:
- ADDM
- Netcool / Science Logic
- Active Directory
- Experience with Remedy Smart Reporting
- BMC Remedy Certification
- ITIL Certification
- Prior experience working with OTI/Public Safety City agencies
Compensation: $85.00 per hour
