Overview

Location: New York City, NY (4 days office / 1 day remote)

We're transforming how couples build their financial lives together - starting with prenuptial agreements. Our conversational AI helps couples create a clearblueprint to protect and build their financial future together. We then use structured insights from the conversation to match each partner to a vetted family lawyer to create the prenuptial agreement.

As the couple’s needs grow, Neptune uses the same conversational AI + vetted service model to empower the couple with every major financial decision. Neptune is the gold standard for couple’s finance from prenups and joint bank accounts to taxes and home buying.

Neptune is founded by a team of hustlers. We were a bootstrapped company for 6 months before we were preempted for our $2.5mm pre-seed round by Floodgate (Lyft, X, Twitch).

The Role

This is a high ownership role for someone who loves jumping into the messy middle of a business, finding the real bottlenecks, and moving the numbers.

You’ll work directly with the founders and own the operating engine behind growth: funnel performance, conversion drivers, and the systems that turn users into customers. You’ll run the weekly cadence of insight -> decision -> execution.

We’re looking for someone with an "ask for forgiveness, not permission” mindset. You’ll be expected to see what’s broken, fix it, and keep pushing until the numbers move.

Responsibilities
  • Revenue and Outbound Engagement
  • Conduct user interviews and outbound calls with a focus on couples who’ve signed up but haven’t committed yet. Identify blockers and help convert interest into action.
  • Turn what you’re hearing into structured insights and recommendations for product and operations
  • Share patterns from user conversations, pressure-test them with experts, and improve workflows for both users and experts.
  • Own reporting end to end. Focus on weekly scorecards, dashboards, and operating metrics that drive decisions.
  • Turn insights into results fast. Take action to improve conversion through tighter scripts, clearer workflows, and faster follow-through.
  • Run experiments that move the numbers. Prioritize the highest-leverage hypotheses, test process changes, and measure impact on conversion, speed, and customer experience.
Operational Systems & Expert Operations
  • Run support and live inquiries for couples and attorney/expert partners. Deliver fast, thoughtful responses, then track repeat issues and fix root causes to reduce volume over time.
  • Create playbooks and checklists for customer support, expert management and more
  • Scale with smart tooling. Use automation and AI where it improves speed and consistency without compromising trust.
  • As we scale, grow and hire for our customer support team

Qualifications
  • Preferred: MBA from a top-tier university
  • 5+ years experience in consulting, Biz Ops/Rev Ops, strategy & ops, or high-ownership operations at a fast-paced startup.
  • Strong analytical toolkit (Excel/Sheets required; SQL and analytics tools a big plus).
  • Excellent written + verbal communicator: can write crisp recs and run a clean call.
  • Customer-first mindset: you can deliver speed + empathy in a sensitive journey.
