The Slate Optimization Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system-related issues impacting Admissions Advisors and Enrollment Advisors. This role ensures the Slate CRM operates efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with institutional recruitment and enrollment strategies.
By identifying workflow challenges, correcting data discrepancies, resolving communication errors, and implementing system enhancements in collaboration with the Slate Team, the Slate Optimization Specialist strengthens operational effectiveness and supports a seamless recruitment experience. Through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement efforts, this position enables admissions and enrollment teams to focus on relationship-building and student engagement without disruption.
The Slate Optimization Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring operational continuity for admissions and enrollment teams. By resolving system challenges efficiently and implementing strategic improvements, this position enhances productivity, safeguards data integrity, and strengthens the institution’s ability to recruit, enroll, and support prospective students effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:- Serve as the first-line support resource for Slate-related issues raised by Admissions and Enrollment Advisors.
- Investigate and resolve workflow errors, data inconsistencies, and system configuration challenges.
- Diagnose root causes of recurring technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Maintain clear documentation of issues, resolutions, and system updates.
- Analyze existing Slate processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and usability.
- Recommend and implement workflow enhancements to streamline recruitment and enrollment operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to redesign processes that improve system performance and user experience.
- Test and validate system changes prior to deployment.
- Monitor data accuracy and consistency across Slate records.
- Identify and resolve duplicate records, mapping errors, and integration discrepancies.
- Support reporting accuracy by ensuring clean and reliable system data.
- Develop and maintain quality control protocols to prevent recurring issues.
- Partner closely with the Senior Director of Slate Strategy to align system improvements with strategic enrollment goals.
- Work collaboratively with IT, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless system integrations and communications.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance for admissions and enrollment staff.
- Provide training and documentation to support effective system usage.
- Proactively identify trends in user issues to recommend scalable system solutions.
- Support new feature implementation and system upgrades within Slate.
- Contribute to long-term Slate roadmap planning and optimization initiatives.
- Stay current on Slate best practices and emerging CRM functionality.
- Experience working with CRM systems;
