Department OverviewThe Human Resources team partners with Nomura’s businesses to offer a consistent global approach to people management with local ownership and delivery. Drive development of people analytics products and support digital transformation across Nomura Group.
Job Responsibilities- Exceptional analytics experience & technical skills. Expertise across data/information preparation, data insight & visualization using BI (or comparable tools), and advanced data prediction using AI, ML, DL, etc.
- Be an analytics technical expert. Lead and explain or educate people at all levels across Nomura in analytics, coding, structured & unstructured databases, statistical algorithms and models, machine learning and AI, frameworks and libraries.
- Contribute to the development of Nomura’s data products. Use your analytics expertise plus FS domain and/or HR functional knowledge, problem‑solving skills and independent thinking to create Nomura’s data, information & analytics products.
- Be a team player & an individual contributor. Work with HR colleagues within and outside the People Analytics team, the wider GDO (Global Data Office) team and other business function colleagues as part of larger deliveries, while also working independently or in small teams to continuously deliver business value for Nomura.
- Be a trusted partner. Someone that anyone in Nomura can come to for help with creating analytics‑driven business transformation.
- Preferred MBA or Masters in quantitative fields (Computer Science, Statistics or similar).
