Responsible for the analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of in-house applications.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain, develop, test, debug and install our in-house developed applications.
- Prepare technical specifications according to business functional specifications.
- Assist with the development of project plans.
- Research and analyze reported maintenance requirements.
- Lead team of programmers, business analysts and users throughout the project life cycle.
- Assist end users and business analysts in the resolution of technical problems related to system functions, programming and procedures including providing off-hour support. Maintain issues list and facilitate resolution of issues.
- Developer 6-10 years experience
- Experience in full SDLC required
- Experience with desktop client dev/test required
- Strong communication skills, a user-service orientation, familiarity with the team decision-making process and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Financial industry experience is plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience programming in Framework, VBA and SQL
- Proven experience writing system documentation (design, test plans, test execution, implementation plans and implementation execution)
- Experience working from system requirements and design specifications through implementation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot applications and identify root cause of defect
- Domain knowledge of Financial/Banking Institution methodologies is a plus
- Ideal candidate should have experience with on batch processing and / or thick client project
