We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a Regulatory Reporting IT team within a financial services environment. The role requires a strong combination of technical development skills (Oracle PL/SQL) and functional expertise in U.S. regulatory reporting, with hands‑on involvement from requirements analysis through development, testing, and data validation.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, and synthesize business requirements related to regulatory reporting.
- Design and implement functional and technical solutions aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL code (packages, procedures, functions).
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation of regulatory reports.
- Lead functional testing and support regulatory submissions.
- Act as a liaison between business users, regulatory teams, and IT.
- Support production issues and contribute to continuous improvements.
- 10+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Developer in a financial institution.
- Hands‑on experience within the regulatory reporting domain.
- Experience working closely with both business and technical teams.
- Experience with Axiom is a strong plus.
- Autonomous, proactive, with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong experience in Regulatory Reporting IT
. - Mandatory experience implementing FR 2052A
. - Knowledge of other regulatory reports (e.g. FR Y-15) is a plus.
- Proven experience in data validation and regulatory reconciliation.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into implementable solutions.
- Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL
. - Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse / Data Mart environments.
- Solid understanding of SDLC processes.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex SQL and PL/SQL code.
