Senior Procurement Systems Lead – Ariba Location: Primarily In-Office (NY or NJ Based)
Salary Range:
New York: $112,000 – $139,000
New Jersey: $107,000 – $134,000
Bonus Eligible
This is a customer-facing role requiring interaction with all levels of leadership. The selected candidate must communicate effectively and professionally with peers, cross-functional teams, offshore resources, and senior leadership.
The role serves as a senior subject matter expert in deploying and supporting AIG’s global Source-to-Pay strategy, with a focus on SAP Ariba systems and procurement process optimization.
Key Responsibilities Ariba Platform LeadershipServe as a senior SME supporting global Source-to-Pay initiatives.
Lead supplier enablement efforts on the Ariba platform, including technical onboarding and training.
Drive Ariba adoption by delivering ongoing end-user training and identifying non-compliant purchasing patterns.
Manage key data and process updates within the Ariba platform to ensure optimal performance.
Provide continuous improvement across Sourcing, Contracting, Buying, and Invoicing processes.
Generate and analyze complex ad hoc reports from Ariba and other integrated systems.
Identify trends and patterns to recommend process enhancements.
Develop and maintain training and change management documentation for Ariba modules.
Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP Finance and Accounts Payable modules, financial data management, and supplier master data integration with Ariba.
Partner with global stakeholders to align sourcing and procurement objectives.
Support time-sensitive requests from senior leadership.
Manage and oversee offshore teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and deliverables.
Lead and complete multiple concurrent Ariba initiatives, enhancements, issues, and defect resolutions.
Drive transformation initiatives across people, processes, and systems.
Mentor peers and support development of offshore team skillsets.
4+ years of procurement experience within a corporate environment.
Advanced hands-on experience with SAP Ariba.
Experience working with offshore teams across multiple business lines.
Strong communication skills and executive presence.
Ability to operate in a dynamic, cross-functional organization.
In addition to base salary, the role is eligible for a performance-based bonus.
