Job Description

We are seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to join our team and play a key role in the architecture, implementation, and management of our on-premises infrastructure. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure, this role is responsible for ensuring the performance, reliability, and security of our server and storage environment. This is a pivotal position offering significant opportunities to learn new technologies and collaborate with a high-performing, fast-paced team supporting multiple critical business operations.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team to plan, build, deploy, monitor, maintain and support on-premise server and storage infrastructure to deliver secure, reliable and efficient platform to support business requirements
• Respond to escalations to troubleshoot and resolve server and storage issues as required
• Document system configurations, process, procedures, changes, issues and knowledge base articles as required
• Contribute to technology upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing
• Work closely with stakeholders to identify infrastructure requirements
• Translate business requirements into effective technology solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ Years experience in System Administration
• Efficient analytical, troubleshooting and remediation skills
• Expert-level knowledge with Microsoft Hyper
  
  V and VMware ESXi
• Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills (technical and non-technical audience)
• Hands-On experience with Dell/EMC Storage Platforms (Power Max, Power Store, ECS, Unity)
• Hands-On experience with SAN switches:
  Cisco MDS and/or Brocade
• Experience with automation scripting in Power Shell, Bash or Python
• Hands-On experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux server Operating Systems
• Exposure and interest in Cisco UCS
• Exposure and interest in Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
