Information Technology Business Analyst – Director (Fixed Income Booking and Post‑Trade)
Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking invites applications for the Information Technology Business Analyst – Director covering Fixed Income Booking and Post‑Trade domain.
Base pay range: $170,000 – $220,000 per year, based on skills and experience.
The Global Markets Post‑Trade IT team provides comprehensive support for Fixed Income, Equity/Securities Lending, and Credit Trading applications. Responsibilities include operational support, project initiatives, and end‑to‑end application development within an Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities Business Analysis / Project Management- Collaborate closely with user representatives (traders, operations personnel, accounting, etc.) to gather and document business requirements.
- Conduct and document impact and gap analyses.
- Evaluate IT solutions to determine the best fit for business needs.
- Develop detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.
- Define and execute test scripts.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Engage in project scoping and planning, progress reporting, and identifying and managing issues and risks, ensuring effective communication throughout.
- Refine business requests before adding to the backlog.
- Build out and maintain the product backlog by writing epics and user stories.
- Set the priority of work for the team as per the Business‑IT governance.
- Ensure compliance of deliverables with risks, security policies and architecture and technology standards.
- Engage in project scoping and planning, progress reporting, and identifying and managing issues and risks, ensuring effective communication throughout.
- Provide day‑to‑day support for Booking and Back Office applications, including booking, straight‑through processing, settlement, clearing, reporting, and accounting.
- Minimum of five years of experience in IT business analysis within the finance industry.
- Experience with Agile practices and methodologies, and acting as a product owner.
- Functional knowledge of Fixed Income activities from an operations perspective including booking, settlement, clearing, reporting and accounting for US broker‑dealer environments.
- Familiarity with vendor systems (e.g., Summit, Calypso, Murex).
- Proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail, capable of proposing effective solutions to complex problems.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
