The Claims Specialist (Contract) is responsible for performing specialized and analytical duties related to auto and Workers’ Compensation claims. This includes monitoring, coordinating, and processing claims; maintaining detailed case documentation; interviewing injured workers; and serving as a technical resource for employees regarding Workers’ Compensation. The role requires strong multitasking, attention to detail, proficiency in claims systems, and full on-site attendance (5 days per week).

• Handle Workers’ Compensation and auto claims, including bodily injury, physical damage, and property damage/liability.
• Serve as a technical resource on Workers’ Compensation and auto claims, providing information on laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries from employees, physicians, medical facilities, third-party administrators, and others.
• Monitor and document leave usage related to Workers’ Compensation benefits; coordinate with payroll on necessary adjustments.
• Review claims to ensure reserve accuracy in collaboration with claim consultants.
• Prepare, maintain, and organize case files, logs, correspondence, OSHA records, and related documentation.
• Verify job-related accidents with claimants and supervisors.
• Initiate appropriate notices and communications as needed.
• Assist with escalated client issues or requests.
• Prepare status reports and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients.
• Attend meetings, workshops, and conferences.

• 1+ years of experience with auto or Workers’ Compensation claims.
• Experience monitoring auto claims (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong teamwork, motivation, positive attitude, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Well-organized, disciplined work habits.
• Clear, effective verbal and written communication; strong active listening and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and comfort with RMIS systems.
• Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).

• Pay Range: $66,300-$70,820
