Position: Senior Product Manager, Rider Product & App Experience
Location: New York

At Lyft, our purpose is to serve and connect. We aim to achieve this by cultivating a work environment where all team members belong and have the opportunity to thrive.

Lyft connects people to transportation to change the way we live and get around our communities. Product management at Lyft leads the integration of engineering, data science, and design to achieve the company's vision for reinventing transportation. We are looking for entrepreneurial and passionate Product Managers to innovate and execute across a rapidly growing, fast-paced company and industry.

The Core Rider org is responsible for the Lyft consumer app you know and love. This group spans the entire consumer journey from search and request through pickup, in-trip, and dropoff. Within this org, we're hiring a Senior PM on our Offerings team
, which is responsible for growing Lyft’s ride mode portfolio and ensuring riders have an excellent experience across every ride type.

In this role, you'll work on problems like launching and scaling new ride modes, optimizing how riders discover and choose between offerings, and shaping the packaging and experience of Lyft’s core products. This scope touches millions of rides daily and sits at the intersection of rider experience, marketplace dynamics, and business growth.

The right person for this role has deep user empathy, is analytically rigorous, and thrives in cross‑functional partnership. You'll own meaningful product surface area with real autonomy — and you'll be expected to ship with conviction and learn fast.

Responsibilities:
  • Own your product area end-to-end — from problem identification through launch, growth, and iteration. Understand Lyft’s strategic priorities and translate them into an ambitious roadmap for your area. You'll be accountable for outcomes.
  • Define goals, success metrics, and experiments that tie your team's work to Lyft’s strategic priorities. Design and run A/B tests to validate hypotheses and measure impact.
  • Lead a cross‑functional pod of engineers, designers, and data scientists — setting context, maintaining momentum, and unblocking the team.
  • Collaborate effectively across the company and with external parties, clearly communicating roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions to audiences ranging from partner teams to executives.
  • Deeply understand your customers across different rider segments and use cases — leveraging data analysis, market research, and user research to inform your decisions.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technology to accelerate your team's workflows and enhance the products you build.

Experience:

  • 5+ years in product management, entrepreneurial, or product design experience with meaningful time spent on consumer facing products.
  • Track record of shipping products with measurable user and business impact
  • Strong ability to drive cross‑functional and cross‑org alignment — you manage ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies in an organized way, and you define and analyze metrics that inform the success of your products
  • Strong communication skills across audiences and levels, including the ability to convey complex and technical concepts in a compelling, easily understandable manner
  • Experience in marketplace, transportation, or mode/offering portfolio
Benefits:
  • Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled
  • Mental health benefits
  • Family building benefits
  • Child care and pet benefits
  • 401(k) plan with company match to help save for your future
  • In addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off
  • 18 weeks of paid parental leave. Biological, adoptive, and foster parents are all eligible
  • Subsidized commuter benefits
  • Monthly Lyft credits and complimentary Lyft Pink membership
