Overview

New York, New York, USA

As a Senior Product Manager for Product Analytics, you’ll drive the development of customer-facing analytics capabilities that help users understand and optimize how their products are performing. This role is ideal for a PM who has used product analytic tools to scale B2C growth, understands personas on a development team (prod eng, PM, data, design) and thrives at the intersection of data systems and UX.

You’ll define intuitive, impactful workflows that serve product managers, analysts, and developers, drawing on real-world usage, product telemetry, and strong cross-functional collaboration. This is a high-impact role shaping how Datadog’s customers measure and deliver product value.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead product direction for Datadog’s Product Analytics experience, with a focus on driving actionable insights and business outcomes
  • Conduct in-depth discovery with growth-minded customers — including PMs, designers, data teams, and product engineers — to understand goals and pain points
  • Translate these needs into intuitive analytics features, workflows, and data abstractions (events, funnels, metrics, context layers)
  • Partner with engineering to design systems that balance power, scale, and usability — including APIs, semantic layers, and assistive intelligence
  • Define go-to-market narratives and partner with GTM teams to articulate business value and differentiation
  • Drive adoption and iteration through usage data, feedback loops, and clear product success metrics
Who You Are
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in analytics, growth, or monetization roles at a B2C or self-serve SaaS company
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics tools and data-driven experimentation — either as a builder or power user
  • Comfortable working across technical and user-experience domains, including system architecture and UX design
  • Fluent in developer and product team personas (PM, design, data, product engineering)
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach and a track record of cross-functional leadership
  • Experience in data systems, experimentation, or behavioral event modeling is a strong plus

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That s okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth
  • Generous and competitive benefits package
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan
  • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities
  • Employee-focused best in class onboarding
  • Internal mentor and cross-departmental buddy program
  • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.

$187,000 — $240,000 USD
