Job Title:
Cloud Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while optimizing performance and cost.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Build and maintain scalable, highly available systems
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / Cloud Formation / ARM templates
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Implement cloud security best practices
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and networking issues
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization
- Configure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
- Collaborate with Dev Ops, development, and security teams
- Maintain documentation of cloud architecture and processes
Cloud Platforms (At least one required)
- AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, Lambda, Cloud Watch)
- Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure Dev Ops, Azure Functions, Storage)
- Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, GKE)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
- Docker & Kubernetes
- Version control (Git)
- VPC, Subnets, Firewalls, Load Balancers
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- SSL, VPN, Security Groups
- Basic understanding of Zero Trust and cloud security models
- Linux administration
- Shell scripting / Python
- Troubleshooting system-level issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Ownership mindset
- Ability to handle production incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- AWS/Azure/GCP certification (Associate or Professional)
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Experience in monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
- Knowledge of security compliance standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR)
- Basic cloud services knowledge
- Linux fundamentals
- Deployment support experience
- Strong IaC experience
- CI/CD pipeline management
- Production troubleshooting
- Cloud architecture design
- Cost optimization strategies
- Multi-cloud or hybrid cloud experience
- Disaster recovery planning
