Job Summary

This role is responsible for leading the implementation and configuration of financial software solutions to meet complex client business requirements. The position partners closely with clients to understand their operational and financial needs, translating those requirements into effective system configurations, integrations, and reporting solutions. The role collaborates cross-functionally with Business Analysts, Technical Solutions, QA, and Product teams, while leveraging advanced SQL expertise to design accurate, client-specific financial reports.

It requires strong ownership, independent problem-solving, and the ability to mentor junior team members, all within a fast-paced, client-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings deep technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and significant experience in financial software implementations, with a solid understanding of financial concepts and industry practices.

Responsibilities Requirements Gathering
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with clients, understanding business objectives and system functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Create internal and client facing documentation to effectively communicate requirements, recommendations, and delivery plans.
  • Understand the functional impact of various configuration options and offer recommendations.
  • Effective communication of your insights and plans to cross-functional team members.
Implementation
  • Configure product to meet business requirements using UI-based tools and SQL.
  • Design and generate tailored reports leveraging advanced SQL query writing to meet specific client needs, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial data analysis.
  • Oversee end to end delivery by collaborating with project managers, solutions architects, technical engineers and quality assurance engineers.
  • Provide product demonstrations as needed, both internally and externally.
  • Lead or assist with client user training.
Team Leadership and Mentorship
  • Foster a high-performing team environment through mentorship, coaching, and individual development plans.
  • Assist team manager with team forecasting, project scoping, project staffing, and resource planning.
  • Lead execution of internal initiatives aimed at driving organizational improvement and efficiency.
  • Innovate solutions to enhance internal operations, project execution and client experience.
  • Challenge the status quo through creativity and strategic action.
Client Health and Relationship Management
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client health escalations related to current work on the team.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by proactively addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with team deliverables.
  • Identify new market opportunities and communicate this information to the Product team.
