Job Overview

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions Architect team partners with customers to design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures. As a Solutions Architect, you will help address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services through education, training, and hands‑on solution development.

• Help organizations understand best practices for advanced cloud‑based solutions and advise on strategies for migrating workloads to the cloud.
• Drive successful business outcomes across a broad set of enterprise customers through education, training, and solution design.
• Guide organizations in adopting advanced cloud solutions and migrating workloads to the cloud.
• Develop and implement strategies to build mindshare and increase adoption of AWS.
• Interact and communicate effectively with various AWS teams, including services, marketing, and professional services, while representing your own team to executive management.

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
