The Data Engineer serves as a consultative technology partner to the business, responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data and automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and decision‑making across the organization. This role exercises independent judgment and advanced technical expertise while working directly with senior stakeholders.

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation and data optimization opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture and solutions.
• Architect, build, and optimize structured data pipelines and reporting environments using Azure SQL, Power Query, and related data technologies.
• Implement and manage automation platforms in collaboration with vendors or internal teams, including Power Automate, , Workato, and Power BI.
• Experiment with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to identify practical, scalable use cases.
• Assess feasibility, limitations, and risks of AI‑driven solutions, escalating mature ideas to specialized tools or applications when appropriate.
• Promote responsible, compliant, and business‑aligned use of AI across workflows.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, automation, or business‑facing technical roles.
• Advanced experience with relational databases (e.g., Azure SQL) and data transformation tools.
• Experience implementing business process automation platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders.

• Experience in Private Equity, financial services, or regulated environments
• Experience with Power BI reporting environments
• Exposure to enterprise AI/ML implementations
• Experience supporting executive‑level stakeholders

Primarily office‑based work requiring prolonged computer use and the ability to sit for extended periods.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 – $140,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
