Director, Risk Technology Operations & Production Support
Global financial services firm seeking a senior technology operations leader to oversee production stability, operational support, and continuous improvement for enterprise risk and exposure management platforms supporting trading, risk, and regulatory functions.
Responsibilities- Lead production support and platform operations for risk management applications and reporting systems.
- Manage high-severity incidents, root cause analysis, and operational escalations.
- Oversee globally distributed support teams and establish scalable 24x7 support coverage.
- Drive automation, monitoring, platform resiliency, and process optimization initiatives.
- Partner with technology, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure platform reliability and regulatory readiness.
- Maintain operational KPIs, change management standards, and audit/control processes.
- Support batch processing, data integrity, reconciliation, and real-time/intraday risk workflows.
- 10+ years of experience in financial services technology operations or production support.
- Leadership experience managing global support teams within regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of capital markets, risk systems, or exposure management platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications built with technologies such as Java, Python, SQL, cloud/data platforms, and ETL frameworks.
- Familiarity with ITSM, Dev Ops, incident management, and operational governance best practices.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
