The opportunityThe Foundry is a New York-based team of entrepreneurs, product managers, operators, and strategists who have a proven track record of turning ideas into successful new growth businesses. The team originated from Highnote Foundry and focuses on Fin Tech, Legal Tech, and HRTech solutions.
Your key responsibilitiesWorking with strategists, designers, developers, and other stakeholders, you will concept, design, and develop digital products and services that address market opportunities. You will create personas, conduct product research, design products, and develop user stories and requirements. You will manage the product backlog, coordinate day‑to‑day with engineering teams, and recommend alternative approaches to meet business needs. You will conduct ongoing experimentation, evaluate user feedback and key metrics, and continuously improve the product and user experience.
You will also drive market and user research to shape long‑term product strategy and roadmap.
- Proven track record of launching and iterating digital products for external customers.
- Created products and experiences that resonate with users and demonstrate meaningful adoption.
- Experience with generative AI, mobile product development, and customer‑facing digital products.
- 5+ years of solid product management experience.
- Obsessive attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and execute independently with minimal guidance.
- Excellent oral, written, visual communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to synthesize input and prioritize accordingly.
- Some technical knowledge from formal education or practical experience.
- Demonstrated continuous learning and exploration of emergent technologies and methods.
- A relentless mindset for problem solving and originating new solutions.
- Strong experience in managing developer teams – whether in‑house or outsourced.
- Ability to stay agile, resolve challenges efficiently, and deliver high‑quality results.
- Proactive individuals who can energize teams, peers and stakeholders.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranging from $128,400 to $235,300 (U.S.) and higher ranges for certain locations. Includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
- Hybrid model with expectation for most to work in person 60% of the time.
