About the Role
You'll join the Strategic Initiatives team -- a newly built function that sits at the intersection of founder vision and company execution. The team owns three things: company governance, cross-functional initiative monitoring, and zero-to-one special projects. You'll report directly to the VP of Strategic Initiatives.
This role exists because Vibe is moving fast and the complexity of running the company at scale demands sharper infrastructure. Three reasons someone great would want this job: you'll work directly with the leadership on the most consequential decisions in the company; you'll help build a function from scratch -- setting the playbook, not just following it; and you'll use AI not as a feature to mention in a resume, but as a real force multiplier you design, build, and deploy yourself.
What You'll Do
Special Projects & Strategic Research
Own market entry assessments, new business model explorations, and M&A work streams end-to-end -- from zero to shipped.
Build analytical frameworks from first principles and deliver sharp recommendations in days, not weeks.
Use AI to compress research cycles and surface insights faster than traditional methods allow.
Translate ambiguous mandates into decision-ready materials for the VP of Strategic Initiatives, CEO, and leadership.
Initiative Monitoring
Own the tracking system for Vibe's most critical cross-functional initiatives, covering milestones, KPIs, owners, and blockers.
Synthesize initiative health into clear briefs for the VP of Strategic Initiatives -- risks identified, options laid out, recommendation drafted.
Governance & AI Automation
Own the analytical backbone of Business Reviews and ExCo meetings in collaboration with Finance -- every forum focused, prepared, and decision-producing.
Design and deploy AI agents to automate governance workflows: pre-read generation, initiative tracking, and action item follow-up.
Identify where AI can eliminate manual overhead in the governance system and own the build end-to-end.
Building the Function
Co-design how the Strategic Initiatives team operates, what it prioritizes, and how it scales as Vibe grows.
Bring structure where none exists and push toward what a world-class strategic initiatives function actually looks like.
What You Need
4 to 6 years of experience running something -- a market, a launch, a function -- with the track record to show for it.
Strong analytical and structured thinking: you can build a framework from scratch and turn it into a decision quickly.
