Job Description

Role:
Desktop/ Hardware Refresh Technician

Duration: 5-6 month contract

Shift: M-F, 1st shift

Worksite:
Albany, NY - 100% on-site
- some site-to-site travel may be required, mileage reimbursement included

Dress Code:
Business Casual

Skills preferred:
Customer Service, Desktop support, hardware troubleshooting

Number of years experience required: 1-2 years

Job Duties:

• Onsite communications with operations in real time
• Swapping old device with new device
• Update record with new hostname
• Test the workflows device is used for
• Update Service Now
• Retirement process of the old device
• Post deployment support
• Escalate any issues around deployment in a timely fashion to Trinity team and if needed to TEKsystems Delivery Manager
• Able to be fully mobile and walking all day in a hospital environment

Minimal skills required for position:

• Desktop support experience (understand workflow, process, intake)
• Hardware troubleshooting – laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, scanners, etc
• Microsoft Desktop Technologies
• Prior deployment experience in a hospital environment – comfortable interacting with hospital end users
• Understanding healthcare environment
• Provides Exemplary Customer Service (relatable, reassuring, empathetic, strong communication, great listener)
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinker, problem solver
• Need to be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Must have reliable personal transportation

• Medical screenings:
  Flu shot, TB test, MMR Titer, Varicella Titer, Tdap
• COVID vaccination required (fully vaccinated)
• Drug test required
• Background Check Required, includes education verification
