About the Role

To sustain our quick growth, we are seeking a Manager in New York. The manager will demonstrate strong analytic skills and a keen interest in marketing and business strategy. They will play a key role in our organization, contributing to the growth and health of the company, providing thorough leadership by working closely with the Ekimetrics Management team. The focus will be on delivering analytics projects that lead to significant, value‑led transformation for our clients and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Client Facing: Own the client relationship of the managed accounts, promote confidence and proximity relationships with blue‑chip clients at the executive level, ensure day‑to‑day operational management of key accounts and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, and cultivate an external network with a client‑centric approach.
  • Data Science and Modeling: Produce statistics and econometrics models, ensure Ekimetrics standards of excellence on strategic recommendations, and manage data scientists.
  • Business Acumen: Lead strategic consulting missions for key clients around the company portfolio, help top management define marketing and business strategic direction and implement necessary changes for sustainable performance improvement, and develop broad client relationships at the VP level to generate new business opportunities.
  • Team Management / People Development: Recruit, align and develop staff, manage performance, create and enhance data scientists at all levels, and work with the team to improve engagement, retain top performers, and support development of future leaders.
  • Company Development: Participate in strategic decisions and act as a strong representative of Ekimetrics’ culture, bring leadership insight specific to industry or functional analytics and continue to build the company’s reputation and brand.
Qualifications
  • Strong track record in analytics and modeling and capacity to conduct business and strategy assignments to create value and innovative customer engagements.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Marketing Mix Modeling/Optimization (MMM/MMO) or marketing and/or media measurement and effectiveness.
  • Understanding of media variables/econometrics and prior modelling experience across large data sets.
  • Knowledge or understanding of coding languages such as Python (preferable) or R.
  • Experience working with clients and account management.
  • Strong ability to develop new and long‑lasting client relationships at senior levels, including business leaders, with a focus on complex analytic issues.
  • Team oriented and collaborative style, both with clients and within the organization.
  • Capacity to develop high‑impact thought leadership articulating a forward‑thinking view of the market.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – especially translating complex technical findings into insights and stories for stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop younger talent and build a high‑performing team.
