Senior Data Delivery Lead — Agile Scrum PM

Summary

Senior Technical Program Manager responsible for driving execution, alignment, and delivery across Data Management & Analytics. Acts as Scrum Master for data teams, translating business needs into clear user stories and ensuring consistent agile practices across engineering, data science, and reporting. Leads cross-functional delivery, manages dependencies and incident response, and maintains program-level visibility through reporting and dashboards. This is a hybrid role based in Tribeca, New York.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface between business stakeholders and data teams
• Gather and translate business needs into structured user stories with acceptance criteria
• Lead sprint ceremonies and enforce backlog management, estimation, and sprint planning best practices
• Track progress against sprint goals and proactively manage risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of data initiatives from intake through deployment and validation
• Establish and lead incident management processes, define SLAs, and run postmortems
• Maintain program-level visibility through status reporting, dashboards, and stakeholder updates; optimize use of tools such as Jira

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Scrum Master, or Project Management within data or technology organizations
• Strong understanding of data ecosystems including data engineering, analytics, BI/reporting, and data science workflows
• Proven experience running agile delivery at scale, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and estimation practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and cloud/data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Postgre
  
  SQL) preferred
• Experience in retail, eCommerce, or luxury goods is a plus
