Seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to support and optimize core accounting and financial applications within a legal IT environment. This role is responsible for administration, support, reporting, integrations, and enhancements across billing, time entry, collections, matter management, and financial systems. The position also serves as a technical lead for system upgrades, automation initiatives, and cross-functional projects involving Accounting and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and support Elite 3E and related financial applications
- Manage system upgrades, maintenance, patches, and integrations
- Provide Tier 3 support and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Develop custom SQL queries, reports, data extracts, and automated workflows
- Maintain integrations between financial systems and firm applications
- Support reporting and dashboard development using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services
- Partner with Accounting and IT teams on enhancements, testing, and deployments
- Create documentation, improve processes, and drive automation initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts and serve as a technical lead on financial systems projects
- 5+ years supporting financial or accounting systems in a legal or corporate IT environment
- 3+ years of Elite 3E administration/support experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server and T‑SQL scripting experience
- Experience with ETL processes, relational databases, and reporting tools
- Familiarity with Power BI, DAX, Python, and Power Shell preferred
- Experience supporting integrations between enterprise financial systems
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with law firm billing, collections, time entry, and accounting workflows preferred
