Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork at a government customer site, required presence in the office a minimum of 5 days per week, no relocation offered. Design architecture and develop solutions to meet organizational needs. Support a small, talented Linux team in a hybrid cloud environment, creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux instances on multiple networks and architectures.
RequiredSkills and Qualifications
- Hands-on Linux administration experience: configuring, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
- Clear communication skills with team members and service owners.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; or five (5) years of SA experience may be substituted.
- Compliance with DOD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAT Level I (A+, CCNA-Security, NET+, SSCP, Security+).
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and issue resolution ability.
- Experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
- Knowledge of AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling; aws-cli and boto
3. - Hands-on Linux administration and scripting automation experience with knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies a plus.
TS/SCI with polygraph.
Salary and CompensationOur Linux Administrator, Junior (SA0) (Government) earns between $72,000 and $135,800 yearly, depending on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
