• Manage MySQL databases and ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability
• Optimize SQL queries and monitor database performance
• Implement best practices for database administration in a hybrid onsite setting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support database-related initiatives

• Extensive experience with MySQL database management and administration
• Proficiency in writing and tuning SQL queries
• Strong familiarity with performance monitoring and optimization tools
• Hands-on Linux command-line skills for database and server management
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot database performance issues
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and explain technical concepts clearly
• Experience with database backup and recovery strategies (Nice to Have)
• Knowledge of tools like MySQL Workbench, Percona Toolkit, or similar utilities (Nice to Have)
• Exposure to cloud-based database solutions such as AWS RDS or Google Cloud SQL (Nice to Have)
