About Us
Overjoy is building Sales AI for B2B commerce. Our mission is to enable 10x sales teams by bringing modern software and AI to a long-underserved industry: B2B sales for consumer brands.
Over 500 modern brands like Tipsy Elves, P.F. Candle Co., and David Protein use Overjoy to find new prospects, run outreach, manage accounts, and scale wholesale revenue - without the bloat of legacy platforms.
We’re backed by Bessemer, OSV, Floodgate and founders of Thumbtack, Alloy, and Unsupervised - and 6 of our own customers invested after using the product.
The RoleWe’re hiring a Product Designer to own product design at Overjoy end-to-end.
You’ll own problems
, not just implementation - from understanding customer needs, to shaping product direction, to designing solutions that actually ship and get used.
You’ll work directly with the founders and entire team to define what we build, how it works, and how customers experience AI-powered sales workflows day to day.
This role is ideal for a designer who wants meaningful ownership over product outcomes and enjoys working in ambiguous, early-stage environments.
What You’ll Work OnOwn product design across Overjoy’s core surfaces (CRM, Inbox, Campaigns, Automations, AI workflows)
Partner with founders and engineers to define problems before jumping to solutions
Translate complex concepts (AI agents, automations, data workflows) into clear, usable experiences
Drive user research, customer interviews, and synthesis - especially in ambiguous areas
Design flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes
Set and evolve Overjoy’s product design principles and quality bar
Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure thoughtful, high-quality execution
Provide direction and feedback to more execution-focused design roles (e.g. UI/UX Engineer)
Have experience owning meaningful parts of a product from problem definition to launch
Care deeply about why a product should exist, not just how it looks
Are comfortable operating with ambiguity and limited direction
Have strong product judgment and can clearly explain tradeoffs
Balance usability, aesthetics, and business impact
Communicate well with engineers and enjoy working closely with them
Want influence over product direction, not just design output
3+ years of product design experience on web or SaaS products
Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product thinking (not just polished UI)
Experience working closely with engineering in fast-moving teams
Fluency with modern design tools
Comfort operating in early-stage, high-ownership environments
Experience designing complex B2B or workflow-heavy products
Experience designing AI-powered or data-heavy interfaces
Early-stage startup experience
Strong opinions about product quality and usability
Build for a real problem in a wildly underserved market
Brand founders with multiple exits tell us, "I wish I had Overjoy when I launched my first brand." We’re bringing modern software to a part of commerce that’s been overlooked for too long.
AI that actually gets used daily
This isn’t hype. Our customers use AI daily - to find leads, write emails, qualify prospects, and drive sales - often without even realizing it’s AI.
You’re joining the ground floor
You’ll shape our architecture, product, and engineering culture from day one and define what Overjoy looks like for years to come.
Our customers love us
More than 5 of our customers have started agencies as a side business helping others how to use Overjoy. One joined our team full-time!
We’re growing fast
We’ve 5x’d our revenue in 2025, and we’re looking to do it again in 2026. We're scaling quickly - and so will your impact.
Why You Shouldn’t JoinThis isn’t a 9-to-5 job
We’re doing hard things with a small team, and it’s intense. We won’t sugarcoat that.
You’ll take full ownership and responsibility
You won’t just execute. You’ll identify problems, shape solutions, and be accountable for what you build. That level of autonomy can be exciting, but also stressful - and it's not for everyone.
You’ll wear a lot of hats
You’ll be expected to step outside of your lane - helping with support, onboarding, and product QA - often with little guidance. If you prefer clearly defined roles and boundaries, this might not be the right environment.
