Engagement Manager , AWSI Telco

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. You will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for our clients. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate technical discussions, and ensure alignment with customer outcomes.

Applying AWS frameworks such as the Well‑Architected Framework and the Cloud Adoption Framework, you will distill customer needs into clear technical requirements, decompose complex problems, and make informed trade‑off decisions that consider performance, scalability, security, and business impact.

• Lead and manage complex cloud migration and implementation projects.
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning.
• Bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitate engineering discussions, and ensure alignment with customer business outcomes.
• Distill customer needs into clear technical requirements and map them to business outcomes.
• Decompose complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation and define documentation standards.

• 3+ years of cloud computing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in project management of technical programs.
• Experience in program or engagement management, leading other project managers to deliver programs with multiple concurrent projects.

• Project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2).
• AWS certification.
• Knowledge of the value proposition of the public cloud and cloud engagement delivery (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Experience working with and presenting to C‑level executives, IT and lines of business across organizations.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
