About the Role- Provide technical leadership across research and engineering initiatives
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and scalable methodologies
- Lead technical work streams and influence cross-team design decisions
- Mentor engineers and elevate team-level technical capabilities
- Design and build scalable ML systems and data pipelines
- Enable researchers to develop, train, and deploy novel ML models
- Collaborate with research scientists to prototype and product ionize AI solutions
- Support full lifecycle: spec > design > build > scale > maintain
- Build high-performance systems for large-scale online environments
- Develop data processing pipelines for ML experimentation and training
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability
- 7+ years of commercial experience preferred with a focus on building and deploying machine learning and LLM models, ideally with AI voice, multi-modal or chatbot systems
- Software engineering background with recent experience with AI products
- Strong Python development expertise; familiar with Terraform, Type Script, Java
- Experience building and scaling ML systems in production
- Familiarity with ML/data science ecosystem (Num Py, Pandas, PyTorch, etc.)
- Experience with distributed systems and data pipelines
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
- Strong system design and Dev Ops fundamentals, specifically with CI/CD
- MLOps toolset in MLFlow, Kube Flow or other orchestration tools
- Ability to collaborate with research scientists and engineers
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar
