Job Title: Infrastructure, Cloud and Server room Lead

The Infrastructure, Cloud and Server room Lead will provide comprehensive Infrastructure and Cloud Operations services supporting DFC OIT’s hybrid enterprise environment. Services include day-to-day operations, monitoring, administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure components. Lead should ensure availability, performance, security, and recoverability of all supported platforms.

• Ensure system reliability, security, scalability, and recoverability while enabling DFC business operations.
• Proactively identify risks, capacity constraints, and technical debt and shall present recommendations to DFC OIT for improvement
• Provide operational support for DFC’s Microsoft Azure environment, including subscription management, resource monitoring, configuration management, security posture maintenance, and incident response.
• Minimizing unplanned downtime
• Maintaining secure configurations aligned with Zero Trust principles
• Ensuring timely patching and backups. Upkeep of device firmware updates.
• Support certificate usage across on-premises infrastructure, endpoints, and integrated systems as directed by the Government.
• Integrate Infrastructure and cloud operations closely with the Service Desk, Network Operations, and Engineering Services. Azure and M365 incidents escalated from the Service Desk shall be prioritized based on business impact and documented fully in Service Now.
• Support Physical infrastructure operations by focusing on maintaining hardware stability, cleanliness, organization, and accurate documentation.
• Support continuity and recovery actions related to the on‑premises server room, including environmental response coordination, hardware stabilization, and physical access support.
